Product Description

The BooBox Flex is easily the best bang for your buck of any controller on the market. No other controller packs CD quality sound together with up to 8 outputs at such a low cost. The Flex is as reliable as it is flexible. It’s no wonder that it’s the controller of choice for the leading prop manufacturers in the industry.

SD Card Slot
The Flex can use either it’s internal memory or an SD card for animation and MP3 storage. The internal 4MB flash chip has enough memory for most props. For more demanding props, pop in an SD card and it’ll use that instead.

Audio
The Flex’s built-in MP3 player takes the audio of your prop to a whole new level. Set the Flex to play the same sound every time, or increment through different ones to mix things up.

Real-Time Programming
The Flex is easily programmed in real-time using our ScareMaster programmer. Once a prop is animated it can be saved so future builds can be cloned in a matter of seconds - no computer necessary.

Power Supply
The BooBox Flex can be powered by a 12 or 24 volt DC power supply. The voltage of the power supply depends on the output devices used in the particular application. For more information on selecting a power supply please read more here.

Trigger Inputs
The Flex has 2 optically-isolated inputs that can each be set to index through up to 8 scenes. Pre and post-delays are also available for each trigger, as well as a timer mode to set the prop off on a recurring schedule.

Solid-State Outputs
Up to 8 solid-state outputs will power 12 or 24VDC devices - a perfect match for most industry standard relays and solenoids. Additional output options are available using our BooBox output accessories.

Ambient and Scare Modes
The Ambient mode is used to build anticipation of the scare. While the Flex is not scaring, it is by default in ambient mode. Program this mode with what you want the patrons to see and hear as they approach the scare - a little foreshadowing of the terror to come. Multiple ambient scenes can be programmed and the Flex will automatically cycle through them after each scare.
