The PicoVolt allows you to precisely control the speed and direction of a DC motor using efficient Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology. Use the PicoVolt to run the motor at one precise speed, or use it to repeat your own custom motor animation.

Simple Speed Control
In it’s simplest form, the PicoVolt is an efficient DC motor speed controller. The built-in speed wheel gives you precise control over the speed of any 12VDC motor.

Ambient Animation
The PicoVolt doesn't just control speed. It allows you to program up to 60 seconds of animation, any speed, any direction. Hold the record button while animating the motor using the speed wheel. The PicoVolt loops your animation indefinitely. Same goes for DC lighting, program any lighting pattern and the PicoVolt loops it over and over.

Power Supply
The PicoVolt must be powered by a 12 volt DC power supply. The wattage you need depends on what you're controlling. Pretty much all motors will require the 60 watt power supply. Most LED setups will be fine with the 12 watt supply, however larger ones may need more. Add up the wattage of all your LED lights and make sure the power supply you choose has a wattage at least that high.

Compact and Efficient
The PicoVolt uses PWM techniques to efficiently control the speed of your motor. This technique can reduce the motor’s speed while retaining most of the torque. Other methods of speed control simply reduce the voltage, resulting in a huge reduction in the motor’s power. PWM also allows us to keep the PicoVolt small for easy installation into compact props.

Lighting Control
Just like the PicoVolt can control motor speed, it can control DC light brightness. Use it to dim your lights, or program and repeat any lighting effect you want.
