Laser / Light Sensor
Use this sensor in a laser maze to detect when a laser beam has been broken, or to detect when a light is shined at the sensor. It won't trigger from average ambient lighting. Fairly bright direct light or a laser is required.
This sensor will keep its output on when the eye is dark, or off when the eye sees light. So by default, when connected to one of our controllers, it will trigger the controller when it sees darkness. This is ideal in a laser maze scenario as you generally want to trip the controller when the laser is broken. If you want the opposite behavior use the normally-closed input function on most of our controllers so it triggers when the sensor sees light. Note that normally-closed input is not available on our PicoBoo ONE.
