Industrial SD Card

Almost all SD cards store their data in Multi-Level Cells (MLC), where each memory cell has to store multiple values.  Data stored in this way is fairly reliable for normal use, but can corrupt quickly under more rigorous use or in harsh environments.

These SD cards use Single-Level Cell (SLC) technology, where each cell only stores a 1 or 0.  This approach can store less data, but is far more resilient.

If you are having issues with your cards becoming corrupt, or you just want to use very reliable storage from the start, use SLC cards.
