PicoLite

The PicoLite is the smallest controller in our new Pico family. It’s perfect for simple props, compact scares, lighting effects, air valves, and other installations where you need reliable control without onboard audio.

We’ve taken the simplicity of our classic PicoBoo controllers and added built-in WiFi for remote configuration and monitoring. You can still program and run it the traditional way using the onboard buttons, but now you can also check status, adjust settings, and test outputs from your phone or computer.

No audio. No extra clutter. Just a small, dependable controller with the modern features needed to keep your haunt running smoothly.

Outputs

The PicoLite includes two solid-state outputs for controlling 12 or 24VDC loads. These outputs are ideal for valves, LEDs, relays, small DC devices, and other low-voltage effects.

Solid-state outputs have no moving parts, so there are no relay contacts to wear out. They’re great for props that fire all night long.

Trigger Inputs

Two trigger inputs allow the PicoLite to react to motion sensors, beam sensors, pressure mats, hand triggers, and more. Use one input for your main scare and the second for an alternate trigger, reset, stop, or secondary function.

WiFi Configuration

Built-in WiFi allows the PicoLite to be configured and monitored from your phone, tablet, or computer. Change settings, test outputs, check trigger activity, and see if the controller is alive without opening the prop.

All wireless features are optional. If you prefer to keep things simple, disable WiFi and program the controller using the onboard buttons just like before.

Small pneumatic props, simple startle effects, lighting gags, distributed triggers, queue-line effects, escape room devices, and compact installations where audio isn’t required.

Every controller in the new Pico family includes the reliability FrightIdeas products are known for, with modern WiFi features added on top.

Configure props from your computer. Test outputs from your phone. Check trigger activity. Monitor device health. See which props are active before the doors open.

And if you don’t want wireless features, turn them off. The onboard controls and internal memory keep your show running locally, even if the router or internet goes down.
