PicoPro
Scalable Power for Larger Effects
The PicoPro is the workhorse of the new Pico family. Available with 2, 4, or 8 solid-state outputs, it can scale from a simple two-output prop to a more complex animated scene with lights, valves, motors, and sound.
It combines the simple real-time programming of our PicoBoo controllers with built-in MP3 audio, a powerful 60 watt amplifier, expandable storage, and WiFi configuration. It’s everything most haunts need in a modern prop controller.
Use the onboard buttons for fast programming, connect from your phone for quick testing, or use the desktop interface for more detailed animation and setup. Whether you’re building a single scare or a multi-output scene, PicoPro keeps it straightforward.
Flexible Outputs
PicoPro is available with 2, 4, or 8 solid-state outputs. Choose the model that fits your prop instead of paying for outputs you don’t need.
Solid-state outputs are ideal for 12 or 24VDC loads like pneumatic valves, LEDs, relays, solenoids, and other low-voltage devices. They switch quickly and quietly, with no relay contacts to wear out.
For AC loads or higher-current devices, use an external relay or one of our output accessories.
Audio
No need to waste outputs triggering a separate audio player. PicoPro includes built-in MP3 playback with 10MB of internal storage and microSD expansion for larger shows.
Use ambient audio while the prop is waiting, then play a scare sound when triggered. Audio and animation can be synced together so your lights, valves, and sound all hit at exactly the right time.
The built-in 60 watt amplifier gives you plenty of volume for most haunt props. It gets loud.
Programming
PicoPro can be programmed using the onboard buttons for quick real-time animation. Press record, trigger outputs as the scene plays, and the controller remembers your timing.
For more complex shows, use the web interface from a laptop or desktop to configure settings and animate with your mouse and keyboard. The new interface also allows you to adjust trigger delays, output behavior, audio levels, and monitor device health from one place.
Trigger Inputs
Two trigger inputs can be used with PIR sensors, beam sensors, pressure mats, hand triggers, and other common haunt triggers. Use them for main scares, alternate scenes, reset buttons, emergency stops, or different show lengths for busy nights.
WiFi and Monitoring
PicoPro includes WiFi for remote configuration, testing, and monitoring. Check whether a prop has power, see when it was last triggered, test each output, or adjust settings without digging through a control box in the dark.
Wireless and cloud features are optional. Your show still runs from the controller’s internal memory even if the router or internet goes down.
Great For
Animated props, pneumatic characters, drop panels, air cannons, startle boxes, multi-output scares, lighting effects, actor-triggered props, and room gags.

Connected When You Want It. Reliable When You Need It.
Every controller in the new Pico family includes the reliability FrightIdeas products are known for, with modern WiFi features added on top.
Configure props from your computer. Test outputs from your phone. Check trigger activity. Monitor device health. See which props are active before the doors open.
And if you don’t want wireless features, turn them off. The onboard controls and internal memory keep your show running locally, even if the router or internet goes down.
