PicoRelay
Maximum Flexibility with Built-In Audio
The PicoRelay is for props that need real relay contacts. It combines four relay outputs, MP3 audio playback, a powerful 60 watt amplifier, and built-in WiFi in one compact controller.
Relay outputs are still the easiest way to control certain devices. If you’re switching different voltages, triggering other controllers, controlling older equipment, or need normally-open and normally-closed contacts, PicoRelay gives you the flexibility to connect almost anything.
It’s the natural replacement for many classic PicoBoo products, but with modern audio, storage, monitoring, and remote configuration built in.
Relay Outputs
PicoRelay includes four relay outputs for controlling a wide range of devices. Relays are useful when you need isolated contacts, when the device has its own power source, or when you need to switch something that doesn’t work well with a solid-state output.
Use it for pneumatic valves, lights, external audio triggers, fog machines with low-voltage trigger inputs, show control inputs, or other equipment that expects a contact closure.
Audio
PicoRelay includes built-in MP3 playback, 10MB of internal storage, and microSD expansion. Copy your audio files over, program your scene, and the controller handles the sound and outputs together.
Ambient sounds can play while the prop is waiting, then switch to the scare sound when triggered. No separate audio player required.
The built-in 60 watt amplifier provides plenty of volume for most props and scenes.
Programming
PicoRelay keeps the simple real-time programming style that made the PicoBoo family popular. Press record, activate the outputs as the scene plays, and you’re done.
For more detailed setup, connect over WiFi and configure the controller from your phone, tablet, or computer. Test relays, adjust audio, check trigger status, and make changes without crawling into the prop.
Trigger Inputs
Two trigger inputs allow PicoRelay to respond to common haunt triggers like motion sensors, beam sensors, hand triggers, and pressure mats. Use the second input for an alternate scene, reset, stop, or other special function.
WiFi and Cloud Monitoring
Built-in WiFi allows PicoRelay to report status, trigger activity, and device health. From the mobile interface, you can test each output one by one or trigger the entire sequence while standing in front of the prop.
Cloud features are optional. If you prefer to keep your attraction offline, the controller can still be programmed and operated locally.
Great For
Props requiring relay outputs, older equipment, mixed-voltage installations, external trigger control, audio scares, pneumatic props, escape room effects, and devices that need isolated contact closures.

Connected When You Want It. Reliable When You Need It.
Every controller in the new Pico family includes the reliability FrightIdeas products are known for, with modern WiFi features added on top.
Configure props from your computer. Test outputs from your phone. Check trigger activity. Monitor device health. See which props are active before the doors open.
And if you don’t want wireless features, turn them off. The onboard controls and internal memory keep your show running locally, even if the router or internet goes down.
